hello, everyone!I'm Azumi and I'm a 22-year-old from Idaho, U.S.A. (I get my potatoes from Washington, if you're wondering). I graduated with a degree in journalism with minors in sociology and Spanish (not even sure if I can speak it anymore, oops), and have always dreamed about writing professionally. However, let's just say I got a bit burnt out after three and a half years of nonstop writing for classes, so I decided to teach English overseas in my birth country of Japan!
I'd like to think that this blog will be a therapeutic, self-indulgent way for me to recapture the fun of writing but I also want it to be an illustration of what it's like to be a young woman working and living in Japan. So not only will this blog feature photos of Japanese scenery, food, etc. but I will also post personal stories about day-to-day experiences. As an endnote: I will not disclose any details regarding my job and any questions on that topic will have to go unanswered out of respect for people's privacy. If you have questions about what it's like living/working in Japan as a general cultural experience, then I'd be more than willing to discuss. Thanks for understanding! All photos posted on this blog will be my own unless stated otherwise. Photos and other materials taken from other sites will be linked to where I found them. If anyone is interested in guest posting totally feel free to contact me about it!! ▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲▲ ❤s: right now & forever
